Why did you choose me?

When I pray before God I always feel in my mind that I am not worthy to stand before God. I am not a perfect human being and I have made many mistakes knowingly and unknowingly. I stand before God with complete guilt always.I have often lost hope in God in my heart.

Yet God hears my prayers. God always works miracles in my life. I can not thank God without tears, I can not thank God without my heart. One of the things that comes to my mind when I pray before God is am I worthy to stand before God? I heard a sermon this morning in which I heard that God chooses us to be worthy.

I understand, I know, God hears me, God hears everyone, God does many things without us knowing. All we have to do is hold fast to God with hope. God has chosen us when we come to Him with hope.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16
