Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
The human heart is very complicated sometimes. The heart’s electrical field is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain.
It is in the heart that one first realizes what one likes and dislikes. As we age, it can be difficult for the human heart to cope with adversity. It is in the heart of a person to love, trust and understand. But with the same heart, you can hurt and upset others. Some people even commit suicide when their heart is broken. Have you noticed the peculiarities that arise in your heart when you have your first love? But there are also some hearts that fall in love with another person after marriage. We love our parents with all our hearts when we are children. But when we grow up we do not have time to love our parents then we take our parents to the old age home. There are such hearts too. Sometimes we apologize to the wrongdoer if we have made a mistake unknowingly. The possessors of a good heart will forgive mistakes but those who are not will not forgive.
In spite of all this, our heart tells us that what we have done is right although it is wrong. Some people will say that my decision never changes. Their decision is their right.
But In the Bible Proverb says “lean not on your own understanding“.
God says in another Bible passage
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
Whatever decision we make, whatever we do. God sees our hearts. Our truth may turn out to be wrong before God. That’s why I said that our heart is so much complicated. But let me tell you something, why is our heart so complicated, and who is responsible for it? It is the devil who misleads our hearts.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5
First, examine God’s will in your decisions. Try to get the Holy Spirit in our hearts through prayer and fasting. Pray for God’s will to be done. Let me give you a hint to help you make the right decision. What gives us heart peace of mind is the right decision. Do not get seduced by the thoughts that arise in your heart.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5
If you do not feel like praying with your heart, pray for a change of heart, God can change your heart without even surgery. Say this verse from the Bible and pray. Miracle will happen
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
