My second lockdown experience is now in Kerala. My first lockdown experience was in Singapore, which was very sad. I go to the grocery store only once a week and spend most of my time in the living room. There was no one to even talk to. At that time, my only companion was films and songs. My second lockdown experience started last Saturday. But I do not regret it because the family is with me. I have people to talk to. My mother is with me, to give me my favorite foods.
The need for home quarantine is very important when such diseases occur on earth.
Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer. Isaiah 26:20-21
As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp. Leviticus 13:46
“The person to be cleansed must wash their clothes, shave off all their hair and bathe with water; then they will be ceremonially clean. After this they may come into the camp, but they must stay outside their tent for seven days. Leviticus 14:8
People today are trying to get in touch with a stranger without having time to talk to people around them. Love the people in our own home first and then share the love with the outside world. During this Home quarantine time, we can try to recreate the broken relationships. Spend time talking to your own parents without looking at Facebook and Instagram. The number of Likes on Facebook photos, Instagram photos likes is not our real life. Recreate a relationship with God through fasting and prayer. During these times we can start trying to keep our mind and body clean.
